Meet The ‘Bogan Somms’

Gary Mills and Rhen Dodd are the #bogansomms. While matching humble grub with seriously fine booze, the local winemakers – respectively of Jamsheed and Ephemera – are carving a niche for themselves which champions approachability, appreciation and good times. Taste is, after all, an objective sense and even though we still love Melbourne’s best sommeliers, this duo might just take the cake. Here’s an inspirational snapshot of what has been experimented with to date.

So we checked on the #interwebs about what went with #condrieu and it said grilled white fish, ham and nuts?! We are 50 kms from the coast so we went with 2x#crumpets with #cheddarcheese #dijonnaisemustard and #champagneham – we call it the #croquebloke with #bbqshapes as #croutons (thanks @the_dirt_dude ) #duclauxcondrieu is superb!
