Beer of the Week: Microbirrificio Opperbacco Triplipa

Microbirrificio Opperbacco, based in Notaresco (Abbruzzo), is a fastidious brewing operation utilising only two 2000-litre tanks and a single pump. Which means quality – of the highest order – is always under control and the portfolio of beers produced is meticulously curated.

So what that means you can expect from this, the Triplipa that champions a Belgian yeast strain as its base but is hopped like an IPA, is a smattering of intense flavours offset by inviting aromas and textures. Think: ripe fruit notes alongside caramel, sweet spice and brioche.
