Cider of the Week: Adam’s Evening ‘1718’ Cider

Adam’s Evening ‘1718’, a new cider from Bobar’s Tom and Sally Belford, combines 90 per cent of lees-y apple and pear cider from the 2017 vintage, and 10 per cent of pear juice – for bottle fermentation – from 2018’s first pear harvest. As such, it’s incredibly textured, offering plenty of spicy fruit notes alongside a bright line of refreshing acidity. Try it with a large wheel of creamy cheese.
