A very personal project of Melbourne-based Rob Sowter who's family just so happens to own a Biodynamic sugar cane farm in Redridge QLD.
With a heavy botanical reliance on lantana and native finger lime, it raises the question: is it actually gin, or is it botanical-charged Rhum Agricole thanks to its rather characterful base spirit being derived from pot-distilled fresh sugar cane? Irrespective of the questions it poses, its handcrafted nature and inherent deliciousness can not be ignored and needs to be celebrated. Drink it as a sipper on ice, or drink it with soda. Or, if you dare to do both, drink it with half soda half tonic in a Gin + SONIC!
