Coming from the 27 year-old, 0.5ha, own-rooted Nikau vineyard, this estate site is meticulously managed by Dane & his family. With only 700kg of fruit harvested, this was de-stemmed, fermented using indigenous yeasts, and matured in stainless steel for ten months prior to bottling.

This is an incredibly thought-provoking wine, and an exemplar of all the hard work that Dane & his family have put into this site. Aromatics of plum, soil, and dark berries lead into a rocky, mineral palate with a saline tang, dark cherry, and firm tannins.
