Lovely Syrah from Rivar Mayer Ferguson (aka Timo Mayer's son!) Coming from Coldstream in the Yarra Valley, the fruit was hand-picked, fermented using indigenous yeasts, then matured in seasoned hogshead for six months. Purple violet aromatics with red plums, blackberry leaf, and an amazing intensity.
