Mortellito comes from Dario Serrentino in Sicily, who previously sold his grapes to greats like Lamoresca and Frank Cornelissen.
Fruit comes from Dario's organically managed vineyard which is harvested by hand and carefully vinified with minimal sulphur additions at bottling.
Calaiancu Bianco is predominantly Grillo, with some Catarratto in the mix for good measure. A smidge richer than the previous vintage, this year's release is still beautifully saline and mineral, with lemon, subtle apricot pit, green herbs, and a hint of honey.
