Picked early to keep the bright acid, this is so fresh and so clean, with lemon and some salty minerality. The wine spent nine months on lees, in old oak, resulting in a super moreish pillowy texture.

Who is Somos?
Based in McLaren Vale, a passion project turned full scale, Somos is the label of Ben Caldwell and Mauricio Ruiz Cantú. The duo work primarily with less-known Italian and Spanish varieties, and they make them in entirely unconventional ways, with a lo-fi and sustainable ethos.
Somos, translating to “we are” in Spanish lends to the pairs goal of making wines people love to drink, youthful, juicy, vibrant and textural.
