Jarrod Kiven has lived the life many dream about. Leaving the corporate world behind for the south of France to work in a vineyard and winery—it sounds like a fever dream! He returned home to Melbourne just before the onset of the pandemic to establish a small boutique label, and, as they say, the rest is history!
Nestled between the undulating hills of north-east Victoria are 23-year-old Viognier vines that Jarrod has turned into it pure gold! After a short stint on skins and a longer nine months on lees, this is softly textured and a real delight to drink. Stone fruit and some quinine are charged with a dose of fresh acidity and a little phenolic bite.
