Let's get around this very proud Moorabool Valley family and celebrate the fact that we have world-class wines in our own backyard!

The black volcanic and limestone soils where this fruit is grown create a darker, edgier wine than its Sangreal (Farr's neighbouring vineyard) counterpart. With the vineyard planted to run east-west in order to protect the fruit from overexposure to baking Geelong sun, for us it's always one of the most uniquely savoury and structured wines released (also consistently one of our favourites!)

Similar in colour to the Sangreal, and with sweet spicy notes present, though the Farrside has a much firmer palate. With prominent fruit characters of black cherry and plum, and a velvety mouthfeel, this wine is a true delight for any of those lucky enough to try it!

This is a fantastic bottle to add to your cellar but is drinking beautifully in its youth too.
