Their fourth release from the Ashton Vineyard, that holds deep clay soils and as a result the wines are bold and captivating. The wines were vinified organically and spent 11 months in oak (20% new) before being bottled. There is a liveliness to this wine as a result of the long and cool growing season that was 2021.

Who is Gentle Folk?
Situated amongst the undulating slopes of the Adelaide Hills, Gareth and Rainbo Belton farm six organically managed vineyards with an emphasis on minimal intervention and regional expression.
With a background in phycology (the study of seaweed and algae), both Gareth and Rainbo developed a keen interest in wine and applied their knowledge of microbiology to quickly became influential figures in the Adelaide Hills wine scene.
