Blood Moon Sang de Etoiles Sangiovese 2024

A dark-fruited beauty hailing from SA, with notes of black cherry, marzipan, tar and black pepper all at play on the soft, plush palate. An enviable lineup of Italian varieties, which have made themselves very at home in the Riverland, make up this yummy Rosso, with Nero d'Avola, and co-fermented Montepulciano and Aglianico, plus a lil Grenache for good measure. Bellissimo!

Destemmed with 25 days on skins, then a further 5 months maturation in old oak barrels - wild fermented, unfined, unfiltered, and no sulphur additions. This is pure berry juice, full of ribena, blackcurrant, a light smoky note, light grip, and great spice. You're gonna want two bottles of this one!
