Who is Arfion?
"Arfion, translating to “Our Wine” in Scottish Gaelic.
Wine maker Dave Mackintosh established Arfion in 2011 with his father Brian and brother Jimmy. Obsessed with wine making for a long time, this drove Dave to mix things up and create classic, single site, single variety expressions as well as some blends and lo-fi offerings.
Sourcing grapes form like-minded friends across the Yarra Valley, the wines are intuitive, evolving and reflect the many connections between vineyard, variety and vintage.
