A unique, modern expression of premium Australian Chardonnay.
Lovely positive flinty reduction on the nose flows through to lemon citrus, nectarine and green melon. The flintiness continues through a driven, taught palate with plenty of citrus pith, lemon, grapefruit with great levity and intrigue. Pair with mac and cheese.
Fruit was sourced from Toolangi G block (Mendoza Gin Gin clone), whole bunch pressed, settled, then transferred to the 600L Ceramic Egg with a healthy amount of lees.

Who is Toolangi?
First planted in 1995 in Dixon’s Creek in the northern Yarra Valley, the vineyard is nestled alongside the Toolangi state forest. Using sustainable principals and holistic viticulture, their wines aim to capture the spirit of their terroir and each vintage.
Bought in 2017 by Rochford owner Helmut Konecsny, Toolangi grapes are handpicked from low yielding vines, naturally fermented, aged in French oak and go to bottle unfined and unfiltered.
