A pretty Morgon, drawn from vines that are practically in Daniel's backyard, deftly balancing pretty florals with structure. Immediate red flowers set the scene for this beautiful cuvée before layers of sweet, ripe raspberry and red cherry wash over the palate alongside whole bunch saltiness and just a hint of chewy tannin. A real joy to drink!

Who is Daniel Bouland?
In many ways, Daniel Bouland is the antithesis of Beaujolais' reputation circa the 1970s and 80s. Known as one of the region's more reclusive producers, Bouland tends to his rustic, predominately old vine vineyards all by himself, with holdings across the Morgon lieux-dits of Corcelette, Bellevue, and Delys.
His wines are bold, complex, and incredibly layered, offering a wonderful reference point for how versatile and brooding Gamay can be.
