Elisabetta Foradori is a pioneer organic winegrower from the Italian town of Trentino. She’s regarded as one of the most progressive winemakers in the country and is known for her propensity to truly express terroir. Each of her wines are enchanting, often featuring Northern Italian varieties.
It’s no surprise to see such a wonderfully expressive wine from Elisabetta Foradori. Ancient Trentino grape, Nosiola, spent an extended period on skins and was aged in amphora, creating a nuanced, yet unmistakable fresh wine. Distinct aromas of elderflower and nettles precede bright acidity on the palate, a touch of spice, and a satisfying lengthy finish. Splash this in a decanter to let the wine breathe a little before drinking. Drink cool, not cold.
