My partner puts chilli on everything I cook, from steaks to my zucchini and leek soup. They say that chilli goes with everything. I argue that just because you love an ingredient, it doesn’t mean it belongs on, in or with everything. Obviously they disagree. So I took a cheese grater and some Pecorino Romano to our favourite Ramen place and grated some amazing formaggio onto my ramen. For a spoonful, it was amazing. Whatever side of the argument you’re on, you’ll love this wine, but don’t expect to get as much out of it if your palate is burning with Bird’s Eye juice.
