Full of poise and delicate balance, and flavoursome white nectarine, citrus and pink grapefruit notes layered with a fine acidity and a long finish. Brilliant and very special, just like the Derwent pencil set I was never allowed to draw with as a child.

Marco Lubiana Huon & Derwent Chardonnay 2023

Predominately Pinot Noir, this year's iteration is richer and more opulent while retaining its balanced freshness. A little heathered honey, with layers of strawberry mousse, red apple skin and a nice jolt of citrus oil zing, with a low dosage at 3.5g. This release is based on the 2020 harvest, with 15% coming from the Lubiana reserve wine program.
