Pillowy and long. Adored by our staff at a recent training night. This feels like napping on a giant, juicy berry. Wine was fermented 100% whole bunch and very gently caressed, rather than agitated. Very inviting for light red lovers but big and velvety for bolder variety drinkers too.

A & C Ainsworth Landsborough Grenache 2024

Squishy, full-blooded fruits that keep lively thanks to some rose water/potpourri notes. Taken from 20-year-old vines, and grown in a good but challenging season, there’s real concentration and some genuine savoury tannin here.

Schmolzer & Brown High Altitude Nebbiolo 2024

Drier style with just a lil’ residual sugar for balance and extra tastiness. This is a generous Riesling made by winemakers who seem to offer so much. Profile is a flurry of lime, slate, quinine, and some mountain herbs. So pure!

Coating, impressive and full of blossoms, from delicious white florals to citrus zest. Despite maturation in French oak only, the profile is lean and everything tastes as if it has been rinsed over stones.

Joshua Cooper Regional Series Chardonnay 2024

Aromatics, subtle fruit notes and texture. We love it when drinks ooze a vibe, this tastes like footpath dining with friends at 5pm. That means it’s full of melon, subtle strawberry and a salty, creamy finesse. There’s also just enough grip to let everything linger.

Bistro Rosé 2024

Cool, sunny day southern Italy vibes complete with lifted aromatics, sweet nutty spices and some stylistically typical tannins that come through a little bricky. All those layers are wrapped in boysenberries and cherries. Perfect in a carafe between you and the last slice of pizza, while supporting your favourite Italian football (soccer) team.

Carlotta Rosso 2024

Those cyclists at Rouleur are riding pretty with this Pinot which is a three-site blend. Pour away for fragrant cherries, roses and a big smile. Great value. And if you want a pairing... this one's delightful with roast chicken - bought or homemade.

Rouleur Pinot Noir 2024

A delicious blend of Fiano that saw four days on skins and whole bunch-pressed Pecorino has resulted in what can only be described as golden hour in a bottle. In the glass, expect floral jasmine and acacia alongside golden orchard fruits, touches of ripe pear and a luscious texture. A perfect match with prosciutto-wrapped melon, spicy Southeast Asian dishes or just a friend at sunset.

Parco Giallo 2024

Skinsy tannins, pithy chalk and mealy texture. Those are some great indicators of balance and structure. Throw in a stone fruit note and you're in for a good, thought-provoking time. Made with Chardonnay, Gris, Arneis and Riesling.

Rich preserved lemon and spice. Textures come in so many shapes and sizes, and here the pour and stir with apricot pip and under ripe peach flavours. Good and thought-provoking, and a little exotic.

Chalmers Mother Block Skin Contact White 2023

Fleshy sweet berries and raspberry leaf wrapped in a little cakey spice. It’s a shapeshifting 1,500ml that’ll go nicely in your tote and off to the park for an afternoon. Bags like these produce 80% less carbon emission than glass so we’re big fans and will keep stocking these jiggly magnums. (1500ml)

Three's A Crowd Pinot Noir

Half Time starts with a good squeeze of juiciness, before some earthy Italian herbs and fresh spices come flowing in with that bitter amaro and the savoury finish we can’t get enough of. Delicious with some Middle Eastern comfort food, but also chips and afternoon footy.

Half Time Red 2023

Fluffy and softly red fruited with foamy, but still crunchy, red apples and just a little berry goodness, there’s some nice complexity here. It’s kept on lees to this day, so get ready for a lick of herby perfection. Shines at a house party and is radiant in the park.

Chalmers Col Fondo Sparkling Rosato 2021

This carefully handcrafted wine boasts purity in spades and is overflowing with character and charm. Fruit for this wine came from a unique vineyard overlooking the Goulburn River, sitting on rich alluvial soils in an area that’s home to many retired volcanoes—Dane has told us more than once that the quality of fruit from this spot is incredible! The Syrah is a blend of two separate ferments, which both underwent semi-carbonic maceration with 10 days on skins. In the glass, expect bright and lifted fruit flavours, with intermingling notes of bramble berries, boysenberry, and raspberry coulis. There’s a fresh acidity and energy to the wine that make it perfect for summertime drinking. It’s fantastic as is, but if we were you, we’d chuck this one on ice before drinking.

Here’s a wine in Oscar’s new line-up of classy styles. Pours with brisk, tangy raspberry and cherry that are wrapped in nice sandy tannin. It’s Nebbiolo so don’t be afraid to throw a little vodka sauce penne its way.
