Cool, sunny day southern Italy vibes complete with lifted aromatics, sweet nutty spices and some stylistically typical tannins that come through a little bricky. All those layers are wrapped in boysenberries and cherries. Perfect in a carafe between you and the last slice of pizza, while supporting your favourite Italian football (soccer) team.

Carlotta Rosso 2024

A delicious blend of Fiano that saw four days on skins and whole bunch-pressed Pecorino has resulted in what can only be described as golden hour in a bottle. In the glass, expect floral jasmine and acacia alongside golden orchard fruits, touches of ripe pear and a luscious texture. A perfect match with prosciutto-wrapped melon, spicy Southeast Asian dishes or just a friend at sunset.

Parco Giallo 2024

Fluffy and softly red fruited with foamy, but still crunchy, red apples and just a little berry goodness, there’s some nice complexity here. It’s kept on lees to this day, so get ready for a lick of herby perfection. Shines at a house party and is radiant in the park.

Chalmers Col Fondo Sparkling Rosato 2021

This carefully handcrafted wine boasts purity in spades and is overflowing with character and charm. Fruit for this wine came from a unique vineyard overlooking the Goulburn River, sitting on rich alluvial soils in an area that’s home to many retired volcanoes—Dane has told us more than once that the quality of fruit from this spot is incredible! The Syrah is a blend of two separate ferments, which both underwent semi-carbonic maceration with 10 days on skins. In the glass, expect bright and lifted fruit flavours, with intermingling notes of bramble berries, boysenberry, and raspberry coulis. There’s a fresh acidity and energy to the wine that make it perfect for summertime drinking. It’s fantastic as is, but if we were you, we’d chuck this one on ice before drinking.
