Flush with baskets of raspberries and red fruits that settles with liquorice root and some dusty tannin and brisk acidity. It might be the pick of the bunch for a foodie–but we could argue that for most.
Julienas is all red grapes this year and was sourced from 55-year-old vines that grow across white clay with crumbly schist and sandstone. Like all of Yann’s wines, this was cold fermented and went through carbonic maceration to keep the palate lively.
