Translating to 'smoke beer', this is a traditional style Bavarian rauchbier brewed with malts that have been smoked with beechwood. It's copper in colour, with rich caramel malts along with an unmistakable yet balanced smokiness. This beer is part of Burnley Brewing's Oktoberfest release, which delves into the wonderful diversity that German beer is celebrated for. (440ml) 5.4% ABV

Burnley Brewing x Mountain Culture Rauch Weizen 

A wheat beer that brings tartness through lemon and citrus to the party. Leiziger Goses have been around since the 13th century, so Burnley hasn’t messed with the formula too much, but there is a little more saltiness here that makes it oh so delicious.

Schlenkerla is a traditional Bavarian brewer of rauchbier (literally translating to 'smokebeer'), a style of beer brewed with malted barley that has been dried over an open flame, imparting a smokiness not too dissimilar from Islay whisky. Schlenkerla's Weizen is made from a mix of smoked barley and unsmoked wheat, resulting in a beer with a more subtle smoke aroma and flavour. Pouring a hazy amber hue, it's a delicious example of wheat beer that's a little out of the box. (500ml) 5.2% ABV
