Peter Wetzer works out of Sopron in the very northwest corner of Hungary and is some of the leading minimal intervention winemakers. He has 3.5 hectares of vines that spread over 8 different terroirs where all vines are tended to by hand.
A blend of four different sites, and varying soil types. Lots of fresh red berries, earthy spice, a little sea spray and sandy tannin. A great side step for a Gamay drinker.
