The Barry's are onto their third generation of winemakers and this crop is making its mark. The 2022 vintage has all the trappings of a classic and all the phenolics of a wine that speaks to now, and the future. There are white flowers and lemon pith, and a driving acidity to cut it lean. Just delicious.

Clos Clare Riesling 2022

Full of yellow and green citrus and lots of lime leaf, and grapefruit peels. It almost feels automatic. Pour, drink, enjoy. Pour, drink, enjoy. But there are points of delicious interest in there too, from the puff of blue smoke sulphur and the dash of mineraly sprite that shines through every mouthful.
