Very typical of Hoddles Creek (Upper Yarra) with its linear line of acid carrying tannins front to back that makes it perfect with a meal. A small 20% portion of whole-bunch adds intrigue and spice, and it’s bottled without fining or filtration. Incredible value.

Wickhams Road Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2023

Ready and waiting to fill your glass, this tasty number is primary and full of jubey cherry fruits upfront, wrapped with hints of herbaceous stem character thanks to that whole bunch in the ferment. Drinking deliciously now in its youth, but a little time in the bottle and this will reveal more of its underlying depth and charm.

Airlie Bank Pinot Noir 2023

This one’s a good time with some soft plummy goodness and a little cherry brightness, but also a lovely sweet Shirazy spice that kicks late for interest and is always interesting. Grazie Kate!

De Bortoli Chill No Chill Pinot Noir Syrah 2023

Pressed as whole bunches to oak barrels, a third new, with just a tiny amount of the wine going through malolactic fermentation. Notes of nectarine, grapefruit pith, and jasmine taper into a lengthy saline finish. It's a fantastic vintage for this wine, with taught and direct acid tension coming from the cooler growing season. If you're looking for a bottle to impress those mates 'in the know' this could be just the ticket!

Medhurst Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2023

This year's iteration is true to form with red-berried weight at the fore complemented by some toasty oak adding both lift and a structural edge. Crisp cherry and orange essence meet some amaro-like herbs and savoury framing tannins—give this some time in the decanter or just a good swirl in your glass.

Zonzo Estate Pinot Noir 2022

Marsanne brings plenty of freshness, savoury notes and a lovely line of acidity that's perfectly matched by Roussanne's depth and structure. Superbly textural while also capturing vitality and freshness. Lovely white stonefruit, lemon-lime citrus, purity of fruit but what really makes the wine is the chalky phenolic pull from front to back, adding savoury chalky pith and structure. Delicious!

Warramate Marsanne Roussanne 2021

The blending pulls all the creamy tangerine and orange blossom flavours forward, but also introduces a hint of vermouth-like spice and creamy soda. So yum, you'll want to share with someone you really care about.

Rouleur Pinot Gris et al 2022

A punchy, concentrated vintage with plenty of chew and drive to keep you interested. Some gentle oxidative reverb and sustain bring an added dimension to notes of fallen apple, cut stone fruit, and ginger snap cookie, with some moreish acidity expertly woven through.

Bobar Chardonnay 2022

The palate balances a mellow citrus tang and fruity sweetness really well and lends itself to cheese and nibbles.

Zonzo Prosecco 2022

Perfumed, cool climate Shiraz sourced from a single block at the western edge of the vineyard planted in 1973. A medium-weighted, silky, spiced, and unforced bottle of wine from from Yarra Yering that we have come to know and love.

Yarra Yering Underhill Shiraz 2020

A lighter-in-style Pinot, loaded with bright, crunchy red fruit and moreish acidity, with some smokey, chewy whole bunch notes adding to the interest and savoury nature of the wine.

The Hare and the Tortoise Pinot Noir 2023

Wonderfully aromatic, notes of bright red damson plum meet red cherry and raspberry to draw you further into the glass. Sitting prettily amongst dark forestal fruits on the flavour spectrum, with hints of woodland spice, fresh acidity and light touches of whole bunch sap, before late building tannin. Pretty, elegant and the perfect bottle to open at your next French bistro-themed dinner party.

BISTRO Pinot Noir 2022

Our love affair with Gamay is no secret and we've fallen hard for this one! A touch richer in style than often seen in local examples of the variety—fans of more traditional (read not Nouveau Carbonic) Gamay will find allegiance with this bottle. Expect lovely crunchy and snappy brambly berries, tart cherry with gentle brushes of herbs and a genuine fan of tannin driving and building through the palate. Pair with lentils and Toulouse sausage with a big dollop of mustard while listening to Leonard Cohen. Fruit was sourced largely from the Abbey Vineyard in Tarrawarra and fermented as a mix of whole berry and whole bunches, on skins for two weeks, before transferring to puncheons for six months maturation.

BISTRO Gamay 2023

A modern and pure Chardonnay serving up everything there is to love about this variety in spades. Pristine notes of grapefruit and lemon citrus and balm. Deftly light-medium-weighted, with a line of pure, clean acidity woven through. Coming from three sites in the Yarra Valley and aged in a mix of French oak barriques, puncheons and foudre for eight to nine months.

BISTRO Chardonnay 2022

A more sturdy expression but with plenty of youthful vibrancy and a little whole bunch tension—it's loaded with dark berries, red plum and powdery tannins. Lusatia Park has been producing brilliant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for a decade now and is located in the cool upper Yarra in the town of Woori Yallock.
