Akkeshi Distillers began distilling in 2016 in Akkeshi, Hokkaido, in the rural north of Japan where they believed was the ideal environment to produce a new and unprecedented Japanese whisky.
A base blend of malt and grain. This bottled blend contains a variety of different casks, but the largest proportion is bourbon cask. Lovely, sweet malts reminiscent of shortbread and sweet cookies, with a very long and persistent finish.
