Our love affair with Gamay is no secret and we've fallen hard for this one! A touch richer in style than often seen in local examples of the variety—fans of more traditional (read not Nouveau Carbonic) Gamay will find allegiance with this bottle. Expect lovely crunchy and snappy brambly berries, tart cherry with gentle brushes of herbs and a genuine fan of tannin driving and building through the palate. Pair with lentils and Toulouse sausage with a big dollop of mustard while listening to Leonard Cohen. Fruit was sourced largely from the Abbey Vineyard in Tarrawarra and fermented as a mix of whole berry and whole bunches, on skins for two weeks, before transferring to puncheons for six months maturation.

BISTRO Gamay 2023

Light and dry, but full of jubey fruit and berry flavours that taste better than the chemical-compound, squishy alternatives and might be cheaper than the punnets required to make an actual bowl of mixed berries at the moment. It’s a chilled red, so drink it when you’re chilling in the park, or when you want to keep refreshed while eating a roast chook.

Nouveau style Pinot Noir that's perfect with a lil' chill. In the glass expect primary red currants and raspberry notes, with a whisper of herbs and a tingle of spritz keeping things exciting.

A little prickly Pinot that has a nettle-underbrush vibe to keep all the blood orange and potpourri on point. There’s also a savoury edge and spice. This one slips down if enjoyed alone, but it glides down with camembert and a lively conversation.

Hailing from the Goulburn Valley, this juicy number is not to be missed. Clean, juicy red fruits, some light tannin and a nice acid backbone. Great chilled, even greater by the pool on a hot summer day.
