Ripe plums and luscious boysenberry are just the tip of the iceberg, giving way to a nuanced complexity and mouth-filling tannins. Rich, while maintaining a balanced freshness. Yangarra Ironheart Shiraz 2019

Taken from Best's own clones from the historic Concongella Vineyard, with vines averaging 40-years old. It sees 18 months in oak, with scrupulous barrel selection producing a wine of intense character and complexity. Rich dark plum and sweet blackberry laden with Szechuan peppercorn and clove spice. Oak influence is pronounced but seamlessly integrated, with some plush tannins building through to a long and complex finish. Drink now or cellar for 5-10 years.
