Deftly light-medium-weighted, with a line of pure, clean acidity woven through. Coming from three sites in the Yarra Valley and aged in a mix of French oak barriques, puncheons and foudre for eight to nine months.

Generous and soft in style with ripe plum, sweet dark berries, black liquorice strap and a warming spice that dusts the mid-palate with the right amount of tannin. Super easy drinking, comforting in fact.

This could be the perfect match for your Middle Eastern feast of falafels, hummus, baba ghanoush and chickpeas. With its early-picked fruit and skin contact, there's a fresh acidity and a savoury lemon-laced chalky pith and grip, plus a lick of cinnamon quill and sandalwood spices.
