Vigneau Chevreau have been making Chenin Blanc on the chalk-laden soils of their Domaine in Vouvray since the 19th Century, having converted to biodynamic practices in the early 1990s. Their sparkling Brut is made with 100% Chenin Blanc, showcasing notes of pear, honey blossom, and subtle grassiness supported by cleansing acidity and a fine mousse.

Predominately Pinot Noir, this year's iteration is richer and more opulent while retaining its balanced freshness. This release is based on the 2020 harvest, with 15% coming from the Lubiana reserve wine program.

90% Syrah and 10% Pinot pressings, L’Altina is alive with lifted berries that bring some juiciness and are balanced with some peppery spice and a herbal twang. One that’s quaffable, but can give you plenty to think about, if you want to unpack all the length and layers.

Whole bunch pressed and left to rest overnight before 12 months in French Oak where it undergoes full MLF and no filtering, only the barest amount of SO2 is added. The flavours are almost a dance, with citrus peel, stone fruit and some clean acidity to dial up the savouriness. Amazing.
