Les Vins de la Madone Côtes du Forez Migmatite 2020

Take a walk through the forest from the comfort of your couch with this fruit-forward GSM, opening with soft aromatics of wild strawberries and ripe cherries. This continues through to the palate with even more dark berries and boysenberry mingling with sweet spices, a pinch of salinity, and a lovely, fresh acidity. Grenache and Mataro was sourced from Bondar's Rayner Vineyard, while the Shiraz comes from a neighbouring site; a little Carignan adds a subtle spice to the blend. All fruit was destemmed and fermented in old oak.
