Hargreaves Hill ESB

Inspired by the traditional steam ales originating in the mid to late 1800s, the style is fermented with lager yeast at higher temperatures for a nuanced, hearty hybrid of both ale and lager. Mountain Goat's Steam Ale is a little different, opting to brew at a cooler temperature, the resulting brew is refreshing, crisp and very sessionable. (330ml) 4.5% ABV

The mad scientists at Heaps Normal added a few oats to this number to give the body more oomph and round out the profile, so it drinks like a… hazy XPA. Who would have thought!!!

Heaps Normal Half Day Hazy 355ml

A blend of old and young lambics, matured in foudres, then bottle matured for at least six months. Golden, sparkling, and utterly delicious. (750ml) 7.0% ABV

Lindemans Cuvée René Oude Gueuze  2019

Golden-yellow in colour, this wheat beer pours a fine white foam, smells of cloves and is refreshing. (500ml) 5.4% ABV

Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen

Bold almond and marzipan sweetness, paired with mouthwatering lemony acidity and a creamy mouth coating finish.

Curatif Bar Bambi Amaretto Sour Canned Cocktail

Of course, you could even take a can (or a few) to a beach, park, your mate's pool! Curatif worked with Tequila Tromba (100% Agave Tequila) before adding the best lime juice and agave syrup they could find. Yum.

Weihenstephaner Vitus

Strap on your lederhosen & lace up your dirndl in anticipation of the taste of Bavaria! A German-style Pilsner with a herbal hop character, followed by sweet, bready malt notes and a pleasant bitterness. Bright, hoppy, and deliciously crisp. 500ml 5.1% ABV

Weihenstephaner Pils

Predominately Pinot Noir, this year's iteration is richer and more opulent while retaining its balanced freshness. A little heathered honey, with layers of strawberry mousse, red apple skin and a nice jolt of citrus oil zing, with a low dosage at 3.5g. This release is based on the 2020 harvest, with 15% coming from the Lubiana reserve wine program.

That thought that we’re all destined to repeat our choices because the options, given our considerations and circumstances, are actually the same so therefore, there is only ever one choice… the one you already made. (At least that’s my understanding of the theory.) It can be a real headache, but this is a choice we’d been happy to make over and again, and we sort of do because we enjoy drinking every vintage of Linear Gamay with its bright core of sweet raspberry and a dab of cola spice on repeat.

Made with The King of Sake rice, Yamadanishiki, there’s amazing depth of flavour here and a very pleasant, fruity aroma. Drinks with a delicate, textural softness that’s always clean and dry. If Beef Katsu or anything teriyaki is on your takeaway rotation, this is the one for you!
